Puerto Edén
I love this picture I took last summer. I like it a lot. It was the second day of vacation. Me and my family took this two day ship from Puerto Natales to Puerto Yungay, in the Patagonia.
After 24
hours of sailing, we arrived to the small town of Puerto Edén. That town was a
complete mystery to me. Puerto Edén is located at a small island in south
Chile, and we were there for only 1 hour. To get there, you have to take a 28
hour trip from Puerto Natales, or a 24 hour trip from Caleta Tortel.
I only
heard of it at books or TV when the weather guy appears, but I didn’t except
what I was about to discover: a quiet
town without cars, streets or even people. It was 8 AM in the morning and the
only person I saw, besides the passengers of the ship, was an old lady who
tried to sell us food.
The picture
shows my family, and the huge isolation of this place. Wood stairways which walks the entire town, a
lot of green undergrowth who appears from everywhere and the sea, who surrounds
everything. The most curious thing, is that the only transport there are boats,
and in the picture it appears a white and yellow boat who looks like a car
parked in a garage... but no, it is a boat literally thrown away in the sand. Nobody
cares if somebody comes to steal it, because nobody are going to do it and
nobody could do it anyways.
I love this
picture. It shows a different place, a place that not everyone can be in or
walk in for a couple minutes. I feel lucky to be one of those who did it.

your pictures in the end of the world are always wonderful <3
ResponderBorrarI love Tortel, a magical place !
ResponderBorrarcaleta tortel is one of my favorite places in southern chile, the coast is very pretty
ResponderBorrarI need to correct myself, it wasn't Caleta Tortel, it is Puerto Edén. Sorry hahaha
ResponderBorrarParagraphing, cohesion and prepositions need to be checked, here there is a game for you to practice: http://ipadthinker.com/wordGames/relPronounAgreeMcycle.html
ResponderBorrarChoppy writing at times characterized by a plentiful of unconnected sentences without intending to use cohesive devices.
ResponderBorrarOn the overall the message is clear and no major inconsistencies distract the reader.
Corrections :
which walks = which walk
I only heard of it= I had only heard about it
a lot of green undergrowth who appears = you need to check on coherence.
