TV WORKSHOP!
My career
-cinema and television- had multiple objectives through all it years. First
year was a close up to the cinema world, a lot of history and theories about
photography, about editing, etc, The second year was all about documentaries,
and it third year all about fiction.
This year I
started my fourth year at this university, and I was very excited to learn all about
the TV world. I mean, the past three years I learned a lot of things, but this
year I already knew that everything was going to be different.
I really
liked my workshop class, because it is very practical. We learned doing stuff,
and that is my favorite way of learning because I had the opportunity to make
things wrong without receiving a punishment by that. I liked that class because
every day I could try a different kind of job, basically. One day I could be a
cameraman and another day I could try to illuminate the scenography, for
example.
Also, the
work teams were bigger than past years. When we were at fiction year, we were
maximum 5 people per group, but this year the team was whole class -15 people-,
and that is amazing because everyone could be in charge of one specific area,
and did a better work in that.
I really
liked this semester because I could learn a lot of things with a different eye
in a completely different context. The TV world is a lot faster than the cinema,
and that is a dare I wanted to take.

Oh I feel so sad that I couldn't keep going to that class. I don't see myself working on TV but it's so fun to learn about it, and your section has the best teacher :)
